Your NOT Saving Money By Making DIY Scentsy Bars

Just read a suggestion for making your own Scentsy bars by melting other candles.  The scenario involves waiting for a sale and melting down candles, which is dangerous!  The complaint was she couldn't smell the Scentsy scents ect.  There are many consultants that would be happy to grab their testers and come right over but for the sake of arguing say there are no consultants in a 50 mile radius.  At this point a little voice in your head should be screaming, "Join Scentsy" and service your area.  Even if there are other consultants in a 50 mile radius here is why you should join Scentsy.

OK, here is a thought and btw I too am a Scentsy Consultant.

For $99.00 you can become a consultant right?

Your going to get warmers and scents, you won't get to choose but resell them and replace with bars you want.

So $99.00 (to join)- 35.00 (the price of a warmer) -5.00 (the price of a bar) = $59.00 difference or extra that you pay to join vs. just purchasing and  BTW your going to get your very own set of testers!

Say you buy 3 bars for $14.00 you will earn a commission of $2.80 or saved that amount.  So instead of costing you $14.00 its costing you $11.20.

Now divide the $59.00 (what it cost you to join vs. just purchasing) and divide by $2.80 and that is equal roughly to 20 orders of three bars @ $11.20.

After the 20 orders your even (actually ahead because you received more in your start up kit then one warmer and one bar and the testers)

If you sell an odd order here or there you are saving even more on YOUR Scentsy.

I think this DIY idea is very resourceful but join Scentsy, use the time that your melting and pouring into working your business. Plus there is no chance of dropping that hot jar of melted wax--oh my goodness :0

Just some food for thought.
